Welcome
to the website of the original Ancestral
Locations, founded in 1984.

The
website is essentially a showcase of my personal interest
in local and family history, featuring Warwickshire, Leicestershire
and the wider Midlands, together with some of the heritage
of Ireland. Some prominence is given to Leamington Spa with
old photographs of the town and more modern scenes concentrating
on some of the local pubs and churches. |

Preserved
railways also have a well-deserved place here, in recognition
of the valuable work of railway preservation societies and volunteers
in maintaining this important part of our transport heritage. |

Puting
youre thoghts on paper can be an enjoyable proces but it is
so easy to make mistaiks or typing errros. You may even have
spotted some on this sight althogh I do my best to av oid them.
it is dificult to check your own work as
you no what you mean to right and you get carryed away and miss
even som of the obvious howlers.
Are
